About Us
Local 23 is located in Rockford, IL representing over 750 Plumber, Pipefitter, and HVACR journeymen and apprentices in Winnebago, Stephenson, Boone, Ogle, Jo Daviess, and parts of Carroll counties in Illinois.

A: Apprenticeship is “Earn while you Learn” there is no educational debt associated with apprenticeship.

A: Apprenticeship is five years of classroom-related instruction along with on-the-job training. Apprentices start earning a living on day one with annual wage advancement of over $10,000 per year.
